HASAR

Usborne & Hibbert Mutual was pleased to be a part of the Huron County mutual insurance companies who provided $10,000 in funding to HASAR. The Huron county mutuals include West Wawanosh Mutual, Axiom Mutual, MutualOne and Howick Mutual. HASAR is the Huron & Area Search and Rescue organization located in Goderich.

The organization is a mix of volunteers whose core function is that of search. Searchers learn the basics and techniques of search and search tactics. Search members operate vehicles and are integral for Provincial deployments and disaster response. The group holds public events and fundraising with a focus on education and engagement in the community. http://www.hasar.ca/.
